Very accommodating in a hard situation

My father and mother flew to Boston for a quick meeting with Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and it has turned into a three week (and counting) hospital visit/chemo treatment, that left us scrambling to find a place to stay. The staff here (especially Noah and Giselle) has been incredibly kind to us, and really done everything they can to help us during this hard time for our family. The service is great. The location can't be beat. And there are plenty of great amenities.

Comfy place to stay

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel and it was very good experience. The front desk was so helpful and nice. There is a parking structure adjacent to the hotel, for the hotel guest it cost $25 per day with in and out privilege. The room is spacious, clean and nice. Microwave is a big plus. There is food court just next building.

Thank you Robin!! Your smiling face and sweet encouragement every breakfast and lunch was such a blessing during my husbands surgery and treatments at Dana Farber. We were so blessed by all the staff, Jennifer, Angel and Fernanda were so kind at the front desk, Jose the concierge, Martha in housekeeping. You guys truly made a difficult time much easier.

Excellent for any Medical Stays - Also a great location, great price

We have stayed at the Inn at Longwood Medical twice now as our son was in Boston Children's Hospital. You cannot beat not only the location to the medical centers but the customer service, clean rooms, convenient and a great general location to other things you may want to see in Boston. Parking was easy and inexpensive and they are a really great hotel.

Fenway Park near. Nice place!

This is a very nice and clean place to stay. The room was large and comfortable with fridge, sink and microwave included. Able to walk to the ballgame and felt safe. Sit down restaurant and bar right there as well as a food court and other places to eat or drink not far. Parking tight but attached and reasonable for 24 hr parking in Boston. Staff good and no issues. Would stay again.

Good stay for college commencement visit

The queen size beds were soft but supportive, perfect for a good night's sleep.The hotel's location was good, everything we needed to go to for Boston University commencement activities was accessed by nearby bus stops, which connected us easily to the T.  There were two bus lines, 60 and 65 that took us to the Kenmore Green Line station.
The food at the Longwood Grille was surprisingly good.  We had the omelet and frittata for breakfast, the short ribs and steak tips for dinner.  Everything tasted cooked from scratch, they were not heat in the microwave already prepared frozen entrees. 
There is a variety of food choices at the Longwood Galleria food court.  The line at Dunkin was too long so got coffee at Red Barn Coffee Roasters, glad I did!  Really liked the sumac chicken and sides at Sepal, but sadly they closed the Longwood Galleria location.
The parking was $25 a day for hotel guests, which was reasonable for Boston, and there was a parking lot attendant 24/7 to guide you into the stall, or even park your car for you.

Great choice near hospitals

Stayed here the night before my daughter's surgery at Children's Hospital. Great location for this purpose. Many other guests we saw were clearly also there to be close to medical appointments. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and sensitive to our needs. Parking was free because of a special running the month, so that was a nice bonus saving us the usual $25 daily fee. Room was quiet and very comfortable for 2 adults and one child. Free continental breakfast in the hotel or discounted full breakfast restaurant was also a nice touch. Not a luxurious hotel but comfortable, nice reception staff, and perfectly located if you need to be in the Longwood Medical area.

A Courteous Reservation Staff

My three students and I came to Boston to attend the New England Science Symposium and we arrived before 12:00 PM. We knew that our room would probably would not be ready at that early hour. However to our surprise one of the student's room was ready and the 3 female students could go to it and refresh and go off and visit the campus of Harvard. My own room was not ready but I was able to sit in the small but comfortable lobby. At around 1:30 PM when I check my room and the other room to be share by 2 students were both ready. All 3 room were clean and spacious.

Excellent value for anyone visiting the nearby hospitals or colleges

We booked a room at the Inn at Longwood Medical very recently, at a rate well below what virtually all nearby hotels large and small were quoting, and we were ready for anything as we arrived. The lobby was small, but clean and functional, and as we walked down the hall to our room, we began to think we had made a pretty shrewd decision. As the door to our smallish, but perfectly nice room opened, we were very pleased with our decision to save hundreds of dollars on one particular night. There is a restaurant and a food court on the premises, and ample indoor parking (we parked inside less than 50 feet from the hotel entrance), the staff was friendly and helpful, and there is just no reason not to stay here if visiting any of the nearby hospitals or colleges on the Fenway. NOTE: The hotel does sell out.

Room Tip: Ask for a parent-of-a-nearby-college discount ... might also be available for hospital patrons.


Wonderful Customer Service Experience!

I visited the Inn at Longwood a short time ago and had such an incredible customer experience I just have to commend them. I was waiting in the lobby while my father was to be transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital and my cell phone was quickly running out of battery. I forgot my charger and was getting very nervous that my phone would die and I'd be unreachable at such a critical time. I went to the front desk and encountered Jen Baker. She gave me a reassuring smile and told me she will take care of it. She was so pleasant and helpful that she helped keep me calm through a very stressful time. As I sat in the lobby charging my phone I couldn't help but listen to the exchange as people checked into the hotel. Jen was so pleasant and helpful and went well out of her way to make people feel welcome and answer their questions. When I returned the charger Jen noticed the picture of my one year old twins on my phone and she asked about them. She told me how beautiful they were and we had a very pleasant conversation about the children which made me smile. She excused herself for a minute and returned with two small teddy bears, one for each of them. I can't tell you how much she lifted my spirits that day and how much I needed it! She should be commended for her incredible customer service, compassion and people skills and she should be rewarded with a hefty raise as well. If only they could clone her :) Keep up the great work!

This hotel and its staff go above and beyond to ensure that every guest leaves completely satisfied. Noah is extremely helpful and involved to assist in anything guests may need. An amazing place to stay! We have been using this hotel monthly for years and have always been completely satisfied!

It was all about the location.

The hotel was so convenient to Children's hospital and Brigham & Womens Hospital. The room was comfortable. It is a little noisy with ambulances going up and down the nearby streets but we were willing to trade the noise off for the wonderful location. The front desk staff, especially Amit was gracious and helpful. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Excellent group stay service at the Inn at Longwood Medical

I worked with Gayle Sinclair to organize a group business stay at the Inn at Longwood Medical in February of 2017. From start to finish Gayle was an incredible help, explaining the group stay booking process and ultimately working with me to set up direct billing with my institution. Gayle also provided incredible flexibility when one of our guests was unable to make it at the last minute due to something that was out of our control.

I highly recommend the Inn at Longwood Medical for anyone who needs lodging in this area of Boston. Great rates, great stays and great service.

Group Travel to Boston Made Easy

We found the Inn about ten years ago and have been staying at the Inn ever since. We travel as a group to Boston every summer (40-50 people) for a Red Sox weekend. The location of the Inn is ideal for a Red Sox game but we would not have continued to stay there if it wasn’t for the great service that the hotel provides.

Everyone that we deal with at the hotel is very professional and takes care of our group. I especially want to thank Angel and Giselle at the front desk. They have been doing an outstanding job the last few years handling 50 people checking in at the same time. I would also like to thank Gayle in sales. She was our contact person this year and was a great help taking care of our group reservations.

Will Be Back Again

During the planning phase Charlotte went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests prior to arriving onsite. This was not an easy task as we had a lot of internal challenges and changes; however, Charlotte was attentive and made me feel comfortable about the hotels capabilities to ensure our events were a success. She was extremely professional, detailed and had impeccable follow up skills. She definitely ranks in my top 3 of best event contacts in the industry.

Onsite she ensured all of our needs were met and remained in constant communication with our group at all times while being herself which was professional, personable, reachable, thorough and detailed oriented. She definitely represented the hotel well. Charlotte and the banquet staff was so impressive that my colleagues who were onsite for the event was pleased at how quickly they made things happen and how attentive they were to our group from the initial introduction to the very end. I felt as though Charlotte and the staff were part of my team while ensuring we were satisfied with the level of service received. Everyone’s attention to our group really made us feel welcome and has me excited about coming back to your hotel for future events. Actually, while onsite, I signed another contract with Charlotte for 9/30 – 10/1. That is testament to how great of a job Charlotte and the staff here have been this past week

Carefree Wedding Reception

We had our wedding reception here. Everything exceeded my expectations. The food, decor, and entertainment were above and beyond. All I had to do was make the decisions, and everything else was done for me. I didn't have to lift a finger. The staff is amazing at The Inn at Longwood Medical. They have events here down to a science. My wedding reception here was honestly one of the best nights of my life. Our guests had only positive things to say as well, and had just as much fun as we did!
