The Director of Sales has direct oversight of the Sales and Catering operation of the hotel. The DOS has responsibility of the sales and catering budget, forecasts, and business plans as well as the supervision of sales & catering managers, trainees, and administrative assistants. Additional responsibilities include hiring of staff, training, managing and coaching sales managers in their selling process. Advertising the Hotel and specials, creating email blitz will also be under the Director of Sales. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts. Communication and organizational skills of utmost importance.
