The Colleges of the Fenway is a collaborative group of six academic institutions in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic Area. The consortium of colleges and universities spans an array of disciplines, ranging from early childhood education specialties at Wheelock College to the acclaimed applied and visual arts programs at MassArt to public health courses at MCPHS. In total, more than 11,000 students attend the six Colleges of the Fenway members.

Emmanuel College

Coed since 2001, after nearly a century as the first women's Catholic college in New England, Emmanuel College dates back to its foundation by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1919. Emmanuel has always been known for its excellent teacher training program, and in recent years has worked with the City of Boston on various projects. As a member of the Colleges of the Fenway consortium, Emmanuel College participates in many academic opportunities with its fellow schools.

MCPHS University

The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), located within walking distance of our Colleges of the Fenway hotel, is the oldest institution of higher learning in Boston. Known for its exceptional English Language Academy, providing hands-on training for international students, as well as having the first dental hygiene school in the country (The Forsyth School), MCPHS offers renowned programs in Public Health, Medical and Molecular Biology, Nursing, Medical Imaging and other cutting-edge disciplines.

Simmons College

Simmons College is a renowned women's college in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston. Founded in 1899, the school is a member of the Colleges of the Fenway consortium. Its progressive history has seen several notable milestones in equality, as when it graduated its first African American student in 1914, refused to impose admission quotas on Jewish students for the first half of the 1900s, implemented the world's first MBA program specifically for women, and released a landmark statement on the acceptance of transgender students in 2014.

Founded in 1904, the Wentworth Institute of Technology is an established regional and international university and a member of the Colleges of the Fenway.
